Coach and Minibus Hire in the United Kingdom

About Us: Booking Minibuses for People Who Travel Together

We arrange minibuses, Sprinters, coaches and chauffeur cars, each with a driver, for groups travelling around England, Scotland and Wales. The operator runs the trip; we handle the asking, the quote and the booking.

Your trip, two sets of hands

On our side, we listen to what you're planning, pick an operator that fits, have the trip priced and confirm it. On the operator's side, they supply the vehicle, employ the driver, hold the licence to carry passengers for hire and insure the lot.

Once you're on the road, the driver takes direction from their operator on safety, route and working hours. Changes to times, addresses or numbers come through us, so nothing gets lost between you and them.

The licences behind every booking

A vehicle carrying nine or more passengers for hire needs a PSV operator's licence from the Traffic Commissioner. Its driver needs a D1 entitlement for a minibus seating 16 or fewer passengers, and category D for anything bigger. Cars with eight or fewer passenger seats are private hire vehicles, licensed by the local council or, in London, by TfL. We only book operators holding the licence their vehicle calls for and the insurance UK law requires.

What you won't find here

No vehicle belongs to us and no driver works for us. There's no price list either, since each operator prices a trip for its own day, hours, mileage and vehicle. We don't sell seats on shared tours or scheduled coaches: every booking is a private vehicle for your group alone.

How we choose an operator

Licence and insurance first. After that, a vehicle of the right size, free on your date, based close enough to reach your pickup without a long empty run. Local know-how helps too. An operator that often works in Bath will know the short-stay coach bays on Terrace Walk and North Parade, and one that tours the Highlands will know that coach parking at Urquhart Castle has to be booked in advance.

Where the planning notes come from

The rules on the city, airport, port and event pages come from public sources: GOV.UK, the Traffic Commissioners and DVSA, TfL, councils, airport and port operators, and the venues themselves. Distances and drive times are approximate. Rules do change, as Oxford's traffic filters show, on trial since late September 2026, so if one matters for your day, ask for it to be checked when the trip is quoted.

Your questions

Are you a minibus company?

No. We're a booking service. A partner operator supplies the vehicle and the driver and runs the trip.

Why don't you show prices?

Each trip is priced by its operator for your date, hours, distance and vehicle, and that figure appears on your quote.

Do you cover Wales and Scotland?

Yes. Cardiff, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Aberdeen and Inverness have their own pages, alongside fifteen English cities.

Tell us what you're planning

Numbers, dates and places are enough. An operator prices the trip and the quote comes straight to you.
