Flying into Leeds Bradford as a group
Leeds Bradford is a friendly-sized airport north-west of the city, and it keeps things simple. There's no dedicated coach stop, so group vehicles work from the same car parks as everyone else.
Where your driver will be
You won't find a coach stop or coach park on the airport's map. Instead, drivers doing private pickups are pointed either to the charged Pick Up & Drop Off car park, roughly a minute from the doors, or to the One Hour Free Zone, a stroll of three or four minutes.
For a minibus, that short walk works well. With children or older relatives, weigh the free zone's extra few minutes on foot against paying for the car park by the door. For a full-size coach, ask at booking how the operator will handle the pickup, since the airport sets out no coach arrangements of its own.

Leeds, Bradford or Harrogate
It's about 9 miles by road to the station in Leeds, roughly 25 minutes when it's quiet, and Bradford is slightly closer. There's no charging Clean Air Zone in Leeds, but Bradford has one: its Class C zone covers minibuses and coaches, though not private cars, so ask about the vehicle if you're staying there.
The postcode for the satnav is LS19 7TU, via Whitehouse Lane. Handy if friends are meeting you by car.

Your questions
Is there a coach bay at Leeds Bradford?
Not one that the airport publishes. Your confirmation will say whether the driver is in the charged car park near the doors or in the One Hour Free Zone.
How long can the driver wait for free?
Up to an hour, in the zone named for exactly that. The car park closer to the terminal costs money and is cashless, paid at the barrier as you drive out.
Is it easy to go straight to York?
York is about 25 miles from Leeds, around 45 minutes. Inside the city walls, coaches and minibuses with more than 16 seats aren't allowed, so a smaller minibus gets you closer to a central hotel.
Can some of us take the bus?
There are airport bus services to Leeds, Bradford and Harrogate, generally between about 06:00 and 22:00. It suits anyone travelling light, while the rest go with the luggage.
