Coach and Minibus Hire in the United Kingdom

Find the Right Size of Vehicle

Every vehicle comes with its driver from a licensed, insured partner operator. Start with a minibus or Sprinter for a smaller group, and move up to a coach as the headcount grows.

Match the seats to your group

A minibus seats 16 to 19 passengers and an executive Sprinter-style minibus 17 to 19. A midi coach takes 29 to 35 and handles narrow streets and small venues better than a full-size coach, which seats 49 to 81 with underfloor lockers, about 80 on a double-decker. For one to three people there's an executive car.

Don't forget the bags

With every seat taken, a minibus has little room left for luggage. For an airport run or a golf trip, a larger vehicle, or fewer passengers per minibus, may suit you better.

Wheelchair users

A wheelchair-accessible minibus has a lift or ramp, with securement positions in place of some seats. Accessibility on private hire is arranged per booking, so let us know early and operators can be asked to find a vehicle that suits.

Your questions

Can I choose the exact vehicle?

You pick the kind of vehicle; which one turns up depends on the operator's availability that day. Your quote states the type.

Do minibuses have seat belts?

Minibuses and coaches first used from 1 October 2001 have belts fitted to every forward- and rearward-facing seat. On a coach, passengers aged 14 and over must wear one.

We're 20 people. What should we book?

Two minibuses or a midi coach. Two vehicles can reach stops a single larger one can't, while a midi coach keeps everyone together.
