Group Days Out at Britain's Big Events

Four summer events where travelling together makes the day easier: Royal Ascot, Wimbledon, the British Grand Prix at Silverstone and the Edinburgh Festival Fringe.

A busy early summer

Royal Ascot opens the season in mid-June 2027, Wimbledon starts nine days after it ends, and the Grand Prix at Silverstone takes the middle weekend of the Wimbledon fortnight. Vehicles can be hard to find across those weeks, so ask early. The Fringe, its 80th year, comes later, filling Edinburgh through August.

Where a minibus can set down

Each event handles vehicles its own way. At Royal Ascot, minibuses of up to 16 seats, driver included, set down at the Car Park 3 taxi rank, while coaches use Car Park 8 or 10. Silverstone has no drop-off at the circuit itself. Edinburgh's council set-down for coaches is Castle Terrace, with a 30-minute limit.

Your questions

Do you sell tickets?

No. You buy your own tickets; we arrange the vehicle and driver.

How early should we book?

The sooner the better. Vehicles get booked up around these dates, and an early request leaves more choice.

Will the driver wait for us?

Usually not beside the venue. The vehicle drops you, parks where it's allowed and comes back at the agreed time.
